TANTUBIKE Warranty Policy

TANTUBIKE provides a limited warranty exclusively for products sold by Tantubike S.A. DE C.V. and its authorized dealers. Tantubike S.A. DE C.V. offers a 90-day warranty from the date of product delivery, covering the operational condition of the equipment and labor services used during repairs due to manufacturing defects under the following conditions:

Warranty Conditions

  • Warranty services are only available at authorized service centers for TANTUBIKE products sold by Tantubike S.A. DE C.V. and its authorized dealers within the United States.

  • To validate the warranty, customers must present the product along with a properly completed warranty card stamped with the purchase date from the store, or the product purchase receipt (invoice) at the authorized service center. Spare parts, components, and/or accessories can also be obtained at these centers.

  • Within the warranty period, Tantubike S.A. DE C.V. is committed to repairing the product. If repairs are not possible due to manufacturing defects, customers will receive a replacement product of similar characteristics free of charge, along with any necessary parts. This also includes any necessary transportation costs incurred after the product is delivered to an authorized service center.

  • Spare parts and components used for repairs due to manufacturing defects within the warranty period will be provided to customers free of charge.

  • The repair time is not included in the warranty period.

  • Assembly and maintenance of the product are not covered under this warranty.

Situations Where Warranty Is Void

  • Use of the product under abnormal conditions.

  • Failure to operate the product as specified in the user manual.

  • Modifications or repairs by unauthorized personnel not approved by Tantubike S.A. DE C.V.

  • Significant and irreparable damage caused by user negligence.

  • Water damage, including immersion or internal moisture accumulation.

  • Wear and tear of consumable parts such as tires, inner tubes, rubber parts, accessories, and plastic components.

1. Major Components (Warranty Period: 1 Year)

Applies to the following core components:

  • Frame assembly

  • Hub motor

  • Controller assembly

  • Handlebar

  • Head unit

  • Brake dashboard

  • Rear wheel hub

  • Brake box

  • Disc brake assembly

  • Folding seat pivot

  • Front fork

2. Accessories (Warranty Period: 6 Months)

Applies to the following accessories:

  • Front fork arm steering components

  • Controller wiring harness

  • Brake cable

  • Battery

  • Charger

  • Brake lever

  • Thumb throttle

3. Wearable Exterior Parts (Warranty Period: 1 Month)

Applies to the following wearable parts:

  • Bumper strip

  • Front light assembly

  • Dashboard cover

  • Handlebar grips

  • Outer tire

  • Inner tube

  • Tire assembly

  • Fender

  • Rear tail light

  • Decorative cover

  • Kickstand components

  • Battery compartment cover

  • Foot pedal

  • Charging port base

  • Waist plug

Special Reminder: Items such as hex key disassembly tools, extended air nozzles, and consumables provided as complimentary accessories are not covered under warranty.

Situations Not Covered by Warranty (Including but Not Limited to):

  • Unauthorized repairs leading to failures, including unauthorized disassembly, modifications, collisions, overheating, immersion, and improper use of non-official accessories.

  • Products exceeding the warranty period.

  • Damage caused by human factors, such as drops, impacts, and misuse.

  • Water damage caused by immersion or flooding.

  • Damage from violent use or external forces.

  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, tire punctures, and impact damage.

Product Response and Resolution Time

  • The response and resolution time for product issues may range from 1 week to 3 months.

Product Returns or Purchase Cancellations

  • To return or cancel a product purchase, the request must be made within 3 days of purchase, and the product must remain unopened in its original packaging.

Lost Warranty Certificate

  • If the warranty certificate is lost, customers may request a replacement by presenting proof of payment at the place of purchase or at Tantubike S.A. DE C.V.
